Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has announced that it will temporarily close its member services and undergo website maintenance on August 16th, 2023. This scheduled downtime is part of DVC’s ongoing efforts to improve its digital platforms and provide a better user experience for its members. Let’s cover the exact details of what will be scheduled to be unavailable tomorrow.
Anaheim DVC Resorts Booking Unavailable
On the morning of Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 3:00 am to 9:00 am, the reservation systems for both The Villas at Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel will be temporarily offline. Please be aware that this outage overlaps with the usual 7 and 11 month booking window, which typically starts at 8:00 am Eastern Time
Throughout this downtime, it will not be possible to create new reservations or modify existing ones at these two resorts.
Member Services Closure
On the same day, tomorrow, August 16th, the operating hours for Member Services will be altered due to staff training. The service will commence at 1:00 pm and conclude at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, deviating from the usual weekday schedule of 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Planning Ahead
Members should note that the Member’s-only site outage will only affect online services for Anaheim DVC resorts. During the temporary closure of Member Services, members will still have access to online reservations, loan payments, annual dues payments, and other features on the members-only website.
If you are needing to speak with Member services, it would be advisable to plan to call today before 6:00 pm or well after 1:00pm tomorrow to avoid any potential inconveniences.
It’s also worth noting that existing reservations and bookings will not be affected by the closure. Members can still enjoy their Disney vacations as planned.
