Disney Vacation Club has announced the dates and locations for the first quarterly condominium association meetings of 2025. These meetings are a relatively new addition, mandated under updated Florida laws, and provide DVC members with an opportunity to stay informed and engaged with their resort communities.

Scheduled for March 5th, 2025, at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Convention Center, these meetings will cover key updates, conduct necessary business, and include a Q&A session with members. Here’s all you need to know about the schedule, registration, and meeting details.

Meeting Schedule

The meetings on March 5 will include all 12 Florida-based DVC resorts. Each resort will have a dedicated 45-minute session. Below is the complete schedule for the day:

Each meeting will feature a brief presentation from the board of directors, followed by an open Q&A session where members can discuss concerns or ask questions about their home resorts.

Registration Process

Members who plan to attend must register in advance. Registration will close on March 3rd, 2025, so it’s important to secure your spot early. Each session is open to members who own points at that specific resort, but attendees are welcome to join multiple sessions if they own points across multiple resorts.

Registration details and links can be found on the DVC members-only website. Make sure to bring proof of your membership and registration confirmation on the day of the session to ensure seamless access.

Purpose of the Quarterly Meetings

Quarterly board meetings were introduced at the end of 2024 as part of Florida’s updated condominium legal requirements. These quarterly gatherings complement the annual meetings held each December, which typically feature more extensive discussions on financials, resort updates, and membership benefits.

The quarterly meetings, held in March, June, and September, are a more scaled-down affair. Their purpose is to address time-sensitive updates, carry out any necessary votes, and provide a platform for member engagement throughout the year. Though smaller in scope, they serve to keep members informed and involved with their resort’s governance.

Notably, the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are not part of a condominium association and are therefore exempt from these quarterly meetings.

What to Expect

Members attending these meetings can expect brief discussions surrounding resort updates, followed by the opportunity to share their concerns or feedback during the Q&A segment. While the focus will be on administrative matters, these gatherings also serve to strengthen the sense of community among DVC members.

If you’re unable to attend in person, keep an eye on official member communications or visit the DVC members’ site for post-meeting recaps and updates.

Conclusion

The quarterly condominium association meetings are an excellent opportunity for DVC members to stay connected with the latest developments at their home resorts. Whether you’re a new DVC member or a long-time participant, these meetings provide valuable insights into the workings of your community, as well as a chance to engage directly with the board.

If you’re planning to attend the first batch of 2025 meetings on March 5th, be sure to register by March 3rd to secure your spot. While these meetings are smaller in scale than the annual December gatherings, they play an important role in keeping members informed and involved.
