It has been a long time coming, but FINALLY Toy Story character meet and greets have returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Earlier this year it was announced that the Toy Story characters would be coming back to Toy Story Land, but no official date was ever announced.
As of October 30th, three Toy Story characters are back. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear can be seen in the park. According to the app, The characters are making appearances by the entrance of Toy Story Land, as well as near the Toy Story Mania entrance. Currently, Jessie and Woody are greeting guests right next to one another, which means that you are also able to get a picture with both together. The meet and greet locations have varied up to this point, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience app to find out where exactly they are and what times they will be out for meet and greets.
The return of Toy Story characters has been long awaited for many fans of the Pixar film. They have not been greeting guests since before Walt Disney World’s Covid-19 closure in 2020. Previously the only place to spot them anywhere on Disney property was in the Pixar cavalcade, but now they are back to normal for autographs and hugs.
