Spend Time at Stormalong Bay
Beach Club not only has 3 stunning pools, but also a miniature water park: Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay covers 3 acres and features a lazy river, a high waterslide, 2 kiddie pools with a miniature slide, 3 whirlpool spas, and a tanning deck. Stormalong Bay is only for guests of Disney’s Beach Club, so be sure to take advantage of this fantastic water playground. Many guests enjoy scheduling a day of rest from the parks in order to spend extended time at Stormalong Bay and the Beach Club pools.
Take Advantage of Walking Paths to Parks and Other Resorts
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is not only within walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, but to Disney’s Boardwalk as well. Guests can take a quick walk over to Disney’s Boardwalk to experience the many restaurants and activities there including Jellyrolls nightclub and the newly opened The Cake Bake Shop Bakery. Walking from Disney’s Beach Club to EPCOT will take around 10 minutes, with Hollywood Studios being a slightly longer journey at 25 minutes. If you or your family aren’t keen on walking then Friendship Boat departs from Beach Club and makes stops at both parks. Guests can also catch glimpses of EPCOT’s fireworks spectacular along Crescent Lake.
Experience Character Dining
Beach Club is home to Cape May Cafe, a character dining experience for breakfast and a seafood buffet for dinner. For breakfast, guests are joined by Minnie, Daisy, and a few of their friends all dressed up in their beachy best. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet consisting of an omelet station, carving station, Salted Caramel Beach Buns, French Toast, and more. For dinner, a seafood buffet is available consisting of salmon, seafood pasta salad, clam chowder, and more.
Nighttime Fun
Like many deluxe resorts, Beach Club offers nighttime activities like campfires and movies under the stars. Luminous: The Story of Us can be viewed from a distance along Crescent Lake, and guests can walk to Disney’s Boardwalk for even more nighttime fun with bars like AbracadaBar.
Rentals
Disney’s Beach Club offers a variety of rentals to enhance your stay. Guests can rent motorboats or enjoy guided fishing excursions. Surrey Bike rentals can be found at Boardwalk, the neighboring resort. Guests can also rent sports equipment like tennis rackets and basketballs.
