Disney has just unveiled a new look at the The Star Wars Galactic Cruiser and its newly revealed dinner show. The Galactic Cruiser has been highly anticipated since its announcement in 2017 and is meant to be an extension of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, but with a more high end feel. To say that the Galactic Cruiser is expected to be the most immersive and luxurious experiences that Disney has to offer would be an understatement.
The upcoming Star Wars hotel was originally slated to open in 2021, but Covid closures have pushed it back. There has been no new opening date released as of yet, but it may be on the horizon. For now guests will have this newly released information to dream about while we play the waiting game.
Inside of the Galactic Cruiser guests will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the Star Wars universe with everything that they could want or need. Star Wars fans can train to become a Jedi with a lightsaber, take a tour of the immaculate ship, act out missions for the Resistance; or even the First Order. The highlight of the concept art reveals that guests will be able to enjoy a one of a kind dinner show.
No information on this dinner show has been released beyond the concept art, but enough has been shown that we can gather some information. Guests will be seated at tables that are surrounded by stages with performers. It is unclear if the characters portrayed in the concept art are holograms or Cast Members, but either way it is sure to be one remarkable show to enjoy while dining on some otherworldly food.
