‘Rogers: The Musical’ Schedule
‘Rogers: The Musical’ is set to debut on June 30th, and will run until August 31st, 2023.
A Spectacular Production
“Rogers: The Musical” promises a high-energy, immersive performance that will captivate audiences of all ages. Combining skillful choreography, stunning visual effects, and a powerful score, this limited-time musical event is sure to please any Captain America fan.
The show’s creative team includes renowned Broadway talents, ensuring that “Rogers: The Musical” will be a top-notch production. The show is set to feature 5 original songs that were specifically written for this performance that were written by Christopher Lennertz Alvin, which has worked on the the Alvin and the Chipmunks and Tom & Jerry movies, and Alex Karukas, who was the composer for popular works like 13: The Musical and Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.
Limited-Time Food & Beverages
While “Rogers: The Musical” is playing for a limited period, various locations throughout Disney California Adventure park will offer themed food and drinks inspired by Marvel’s most patriotic hero.
These include:
- a cherry, vanilla, and blue raspberry shake
- a sausage and pepperoni wrap
- a pastrami pretzel dog
Additionally, vending carts near the Hyperion Theater will provide a special “Rogers: The Musical” popcorn bucket filled with red, white, and blue kettle corn.
Disney PhotoPass Magic Shots
For the duration of this musical’s run, the Disney PhotoPass service will offer guests two unique Magic Shots that let you take center stage by posing with Captain America’s shield in front of the Hyperion Theater marquee.
Virtual Queue
The new production will be using a virtual queue system in the Disneyland App to admit guests to its showtimes each day. The virtual queue for the attraction can be accessed exclusively through the Disneyland mobile app at two specific times: 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., subject to availability. Guests who start their day at Disneyland can use their Park Hopper ticket to enter Disney California Adventure park after 11 a.m. Once inside, they can proceed to their designated entrance and showtime.
The Musical Premium Viewing Experience
Park guests will also have the opportunity to purchase what is being called “The Musical Premium Viewing Experience”. These special tickets to this show will be sold up to 90 minutes prior to the last showing of the day, or until they sell out. Guests who purchase the Musical Premium Viewing Experience can skip the virtual queue for the price of $29 per person by purchasing them at the Studio Catering Co. in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure park.
The tickets will also come with a few additional benefits as well, including:
- First access to the theater in order to select seats
- Reserved seating in an exclusive lounge area in front of Stage 12, where you can relax before entering the theater
- A Rogers: The Musical souvenir popcorn bucket with red, white and blue kettle corn and your choice of a Coca-Cola® bottled beverage, available upon arrival and before performance time
- Priority access to a photo opportunity, with your photo taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer
