In celebration of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, commencing on September 15th, Walt Disney World has revealed that Mirabel and Bruno, the beloved characters from the animated sensation “Encanto,” will be gracing Magic Kingdom with their presence.
Earlier this year, the company made an announcement in March and filed a permit in June for the reimagining of the Fairytale Garden area. Now, the wait is finally over as the opening date for the eagerly anticipated meet and greet at Magic Kingdom has been unveiled.
Starting from September 15th, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the charismatic heroine, Mirabel, in her enchanting Casita Madrigal at Magic Kingdom. Even after the conclusion of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, this character interaction will remain available throughout the year, ensuring everyone gets a chance to experience the magic, regardless of their visit date.
This novel meet and greet experience takes over the previous spot of the Merida meet and greet in the Fairytale Garden, which had been a fixture for several years. Before Merida’s reign, the location was a meeting point for Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Currently, guests can find Merida at the Enchanted Glade Gazebo situated in Liberty Square.
