Minnie, Daisy, and a few of their pals are dressed in their beachy best to meet and greet while you dine. One of the items on the breakfast buffet have made it to our must-do list: the Salted Caramel Beach Buns. This soft and fluffy pull-apart bread is covered in salted caramel and served with a side of vanilla cream sauce. The Salted Caramel Beach Buns are brought to your table as a starter and are definitely the star of the meal!
Crab Cake Eggs Benedict – Olivia’s Cafe, Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Olivia’s Cafe is an excellent spot for brunch and is located at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. This restaurant feel like a family-owned joint with photos of DVC families lining the walls. Many delicious brunch items are served here but the Crab Cakes Benedict is the most unique. Poached eggs and crab cakes are served on a buttermilk biscuit with a Key Lime hollandaise sauce and breakfast potatoes to accompany it.
Tonga Toast – Kona Cafe, Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is a breakfast spot with a rich history, as it is one of the longest running restaurants at a DVC resort. Kona Cafe is famous for its Tonga Toast, which was first introduced in 1971. This popular breakfast item consists of French Toast stuffed with bananas, tossed in cinnamon sugar, and deep fried. Once you try this breakfast item you’ll understand the hype behind it!
Cookie Croissant – Contemporary Grounds, Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Located at Contemporary Grounds at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this breakfast item has recently had a viral moment on social media. The Cookie Croissant is a buttery and flaky croissant that is stuffed with gooey chocolate chip cookie dough. This breakfast item is exactly as good as it sounds and can be deliciously paired with a specialty coffee beverage from Contemporary Grounds.
