More guests than ever before will be experiencing the Disney waterparks this year thanks to the latest Disney resort guest promotion! In 2025, all guests of Disney resorts will receive complimentary waterpark tickets to enjoy during their check-in day. Typhoon Lagoon is a waterpark that is full of splashing fun for guests of all ages. There’s something for everyone at Typhoon Lagoon, but teens in particular will find some must-do’s that you simply can’t skip. If you are planning on visiting Typhoon Lagoon this summer with your teenager then check out some of these must-do attractions!
Crush ‘n’ Gusher
Typhoon Lagoon’s signature attraction that is totally unique to the park is Crush ‘n’ Gusher. Your thrill-seeking teens will be completely enthralled by this waterslide roller coaster. Only for guests 48 inches or taller, Crush ‘n’ Gusher launches guests on a raft uphill, through sharp turns, down sudden drops, and within dark tunnels. This attraction can pick up some speed, so it isn’t for the faint of heart! Your teenagers who love roller coasters will absolutely love Crush ‘n’ Gusher.

Humunga Kowabunga
Only for those who are seeking an intense waterslide, Humunga Kowabunga will drop you 5 stories, nearly straight down, in complete darkness. This attraction is for guests 48 inches or taller, and only guests who really love a high-speed slide should attempt Humunga Kowabunga. Teenagers and some brave grown-ups will adore this thrilling attraction, which is the most intense body slide at Typhoon Lagoon. This attraction features three slides side-by-side, so you and your family could enjoy this experience together!

Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool
When you think of attractions for teenagers, you might not be thinking of a wave pool. However, Typhoon Lagoon’s Surf Pool is no ordinary wave pool. This pool produces 6 foot swells! Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool is the largest wave pool in North America. With its massive waves, this attraction is great for teenagers who love a challenging swim. This wave pool is so big, and has waves so powerful, that surf lessons are offered for an additional cost before the park opens and after it closes. Whether you are taking advantage of the surf or not, this wave pool is still a great attraction to visit with your teenagers and big kids who are strong swimmers.

Gangplank Falls
This family-style raft ride is perfect for enjoying with your teenagers. Gangplank Falls is thrilling enough to engage your teenagers but still mild enough for the whole family to enjoy. There is no height requirement for Gangplank Falls. Guests soar down this slide on a large raft, and go down 300 feet of waterslide that is made it look and feel like you are on a whitewater rafting adventure. Gangplank Falls is perfect for parties of 4 or more; if you have less than 4 in your party you may be asked to ride with other riders.
