Must-Do’s For Teens At Disney’s Blizzard Beach

Thanks to Disney’s newest waterpark offer for 2025, more guests than ever before will be enjoying Disney’s wonderful waterparks this year. This year, guests checking into a Disney resort will receive complimentary waterpark tickets to enjoy during their check-in day. Disney’s Blizzard Beach is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and will be open until May 1st this season. Guests visiting Blizzard Beach can expect a day full of chills and thrills. Blizzard Beach is great for guests of all ages, but teens in particular can expect to find many must-do attractions. If you are visiting Blizzard Beach this spring with your teenager then don’t skip these must-do’s!

Summit Plummet

If you have a thrill-seeking teen on your hands then Summit Plummet as an absolute must-do for you. Summit Plummet is Blizzard Beach’s most intense attraction. This waterslide drops you 12 stories in a near-vertical descent. Riders will drop into darkness…you won’t see where you’re going until its too late! Summit Plummet is only for guests who are 48 inches or taller, and only for guests who aren’t afraid of a high-speed drop. The view from the top of the attraction says it all: you won’t ever experience a thrill this intense anywhere else.

Toboggan Racers

A little friendly competition never hurt anyone during their Disney vacation. Your teenagers will love the experience of Toboggan Racers at Disney’s Blizzard Beach. Toboggan Racers is an 8-lane race to the finish. Guests grab a toboggan mat and go on their belly down a 250 foot-long attraction with dips and hills. This attraction is for guests of any height, but teenagers in particular will love racing their siblings, friends, and other guests down this unique body waterslide.

Slush Gusher

This speedy body waterslide is perfect for teens who love a thrill, but maybe aren’t quite ready for Summit Plummet. Slush Gusher is a 90 foot-long waterslide for guests 48 inches or taller featuring 2 hills and quick speeds. This waterslide is located right next to Summit Plummet, which makes it a great warm-up slide for the big one or the perfect slide to do instead.

Downhill Double Dipper

Another attraction that might activate your teenager’s competitive side is Downhill Double Dipper. This attraction is for guests 48 inches or taller and consists of slides that are side-by-side. These high-speed slides are inner-tube slides, and are steep descents through dark tunnels. Teens who enjoy thrills and competition will love racing down these quick slides. Downhill Double Dipper even features retractable gates for the ultimate racing experience!

Teamboat Springs

An attraction that the entire family can experience that the teenagers will still love is Teamboat Springs. This family waterslide fits up to 6 guests and is one of the longest slides in the park at 1,200 feet. Teamboat Springs is just thrilling enough for your teenager, but not too thrilling that mom and dad can’t enjoy it alongside them!
