Must-Do’s At Disney For Moana Fans

Moana fans will absolutely love their Disney World experience thanks to all of the great Moana must-do’s located throughout the parks and select resorts. Moana is a brave wayfinder who loves her people and island, and her inspirational story has touched the lives of many. Both kids and grown-ups alike can celebrate their love for Moana at the Disney parks. Whether you are playing around at EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, or walking through DVC’s Polynesian Resort, you are sure to find Moana during your next Disney vacation. If you or someone in your family is a Moana fan then don’t miss these must-do’s during your next Disney vacation.

Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

The spirit of Moana’s home island can be found within the newest DVC accommodations at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Island Tower contains villas that are inspired by Moana and her culture. Just outside of the tower guests can find an all new splash playground for little ones featuring a larger-than-life Moana figure on her boat. Kiddos can splash and play and climb aboard Moana’s canoe, as well as pose for photos with her as they splash around.

Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana at EPCOT

One of EPCOT’s newest attractions is located in the World Nature section of the park near The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana, is a water-filled journey that guests can walkthrough at their own pace. This attraction teaches guests about the water cycle as they interact with water in new and innovative ways. This attraction also features a beautiful replica of Te Fiti as she appears in the film. Guests of all ages will have a blast splashing and playing in the various water features. Guests can choose to either get wet or stay dry, but guests with small children should be aware that they may get wet no matter what! A change of clothes might be a good idea to bring…just in case! Guests might also spot Moana doing meet and greets right outside of this attraction during select times and days.

Meet Moana at Character Landing- Animal Kingdom

Moana’s only scheduled meet and greet is at Animal Kingdom at Character Landing in Discovery Island. Throughout the morning and afternoon guests can find Moana meeting and greeting. She’s ready to talk to you, give her autograph, and pose for photos with you and your family!

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade

Magic Kingdom isn’t home to any Moana meet and greets or attractions, but it is home to the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade where you can spot Moana and other adventurous pals. This cavalcade begins in Liberty Square and makes its way through the park and down Main Street USA. Moana as well as characters from Encanto, Coco, Lion King, and more can be found during this cavalcade. Guests should check the Disney World app for updated times that this cavalcade will appear.
