Whether you’re studying for a test or working remotely, nothing makes romanticizing the mundane easier than being on Disney property. You can pop over to a Disney Resort and find a cozy spot with outlets, perfect for getting work done while a calming Disney music loop plays in the background. And when you need a break, you can grab a Mickey-shaped treat to make the moment even sweeter!

Island Tower at Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
The new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows opened in mid-December 2024 and is the latest addition to the DVC family. Just to the left of the entrance, you’ll find a gorgeous table often adorned with fresh orchids and offering a beautiful view of Bay Lake, with the Contemporary Resort in the distance. Keep in mind that this table doesn’t have outlets. When you’re ready for a quick break, head over to the Polynesian Lanai for a refreshing Dole Whip!

Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
In 2019, Disney expanded Coronado Springs Resort by opening Gran Destino Tower, a moderate-level hotel designed to accommodate both convention and leisure guests. Guest traffic tends to be pretty laid-back, and the lobby offers stunning views—making it a great spot to spend time.

If you’re working remotely, try the long wooden table directly to the left of the entrance. It has outlets and provides a quiet corner to focus. Looking for a change of scenery? Head downstairs to the Barcelona Lounge, where you’ll find plenty of couches and another long table with outlets, perfect for settling in with a coffee. And when you need a break, take a stroll around the lake and unwind in one of the hammocks.
Disney’s Riviera Resort
Accessible via the Skyliner from EPCOT, Disney’s Riviera Resort is designed with inspiration from the European Riviera. Drawing from France’s café culture, Le Petit Café sits to the left of the lobby entrance, offering coffee, tea, and delicious pastries. Just behind the café is a charming seating area that resembles a study library, adorned with Disney memorabilia. The dim lighting creates a peaceful working environment, complemented by cozy chairs and a long table with built-in outlets. With limited seating, this spot can fill up quickly—your best bet is to secure a seat before noon.

While you’re there, see which books and trinkets pay homage to classic Disney stories. One notable piece is a replica of The Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s tale—the same story that influenced Disney’s The Little Mermaid—just like the iconic statue in Copenhagen!
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Another DVC Resort that offers several quiet sitting spots is Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. The lobby has several comfortable couches, and there’s an outdoor seating area straight ahead from the entrance that offers a comfortable spot to sit. However, my favorite hidden gem is the sitting area in the DVC BoardWalk Villas. If you exit the door to the outside past the Dundu’s Sundies gift shop, you’ll find a short walkway leading to the DVC Villas, indicated by the bronze Ariel statue outside. Just inside this entrance is a cozy cove with chairs and cushioned benches, complete with accessible outlets. It’s often a quiet spot, perfect for having a little space to yourself. The beach-y décor and large table make it easy to spread out your work without disrupting other guests.

Whether you’re working on a project or simply looking to change up your scenery, Disney Resorts offer the perfect blend of productivity and magic. With tranquil spots and unique experiences at every turn, you’ll find the ideal place to focus, relax, and recharge. So, next time you need to balance work and play, let Disney be the backdrop to your remote workday!
