Guests of Disney resorts have an exciting perk to enjoy in 2025! For all guests of Disney resorts in 2025, a complimentary water park ticket is gifted for the day of your check-in. This is an incredible perk, great savings, and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the Disney waterparks. The ticket is only valid for the day of your check-in so be sure to plan accordingly for your visit. If you have a vacation planned for Disney World in 2025 and plan on using your complimentary waterpark ticket, then continue reading for some tips on how to make the most of your visit on check-in day.
Check In Early
If at all possible, schedule your arrival for your check-in day as early as you can. The Disney waterparks typically open at 10am, so the earlier you arrive to Disney property the better. If your flight gets in later in the day you could consider staying off-property for one night and checking into your Disney resort the next morning so you have more time to experience the waterpark.

Leave Your Bags
You won’t be able to bring your luggage with you to the waterpark so make arrangements to arrive at your Disney resort first so you can drop off your bags. Your Disney Resort can hold onto your bags until your room is ready, so no need to carry them around with you!

Have Your Swimming Gear Ready To Go
Pack your swimming gear and anything you might need for the waterpark in a separate bag. You could even carry your swim bag as your personal item during your flight. If all of your swim gear is ready to go then you can waste no time at all getting to the water park. You might even consider wearing your swimsuit under your street clothes during your travels to Disney World property.

Rent a Locker
Locker rentals are available at both Disney waterparks. Lockers will be big enough to fit a small bag and other personal items, but not large suitcases or luggage items. Renting a locker is a great way to maximize your time at the waterpark without having to move your personal bags around with you. Consider purchasing a waterproof lanyard for your cellphone so you can keep an eye on the status of your resort room and know when it will be ready for check-in.

Stay Until Closing
The Disney waterparks typically close at 5pm. Guests who wish to maximize their time spent at the parks should stay until closing, especially if they had a late start arriving. Since the parks close just before dinner time, guests can travel back to their resort and have a meal before they check into their room…which should be ready for them just in time.
