The long awaited announcement that Disneyland fans have been waiting for is finally here! Introducing Magic Key Program: Disneyland’s new Annual Pass!
As many avid Disneyland goers know, Disney made the decision to cancel their Annual Pass program due to the COVID-19 shutdown, creating Legacy Pass Holders. Disney promised that a new program would be revealed later on. Disney spent quite a long time sending out surveys and questionnaires to figure out the best way to provide their Disneyland Resort guests with new benefits.
The sale of the Magic Key will begin August 25, 2021. Each of the tiers of Magic Key will vary in price, however, California residents will have the ability to put a down payment down on their Magic Key Program level of choice, and pay monthly for the year.
There are four different Magic Key passes to suit every type of guest and family. The Magic Key Program will offer guests more flexibility and choices that cater to a more personalized experience.
Imagine Key
The Imagine Key is the most affordable option for this new program, and is exclusively available to Southern California residents. For the low price of $399, guests will receive the following benefits:
- Admission to both theme parks on select days of the year (with park pass reservations)
- Ability to hold 2 park reservations at one time
- 10% of select merchandise
- 10% of food and drinks
California residents monthly price – $19 a month after $179 down payment.
Enchant Key
The first level of the Magic Key that is available to the general public is the Enchant Key. For a price of $649, guests will receive the following benefits:
- Admission to both theme parks on select days of the year (with park pass reservations)
- Ability to hold 4 park reservations at one time
- 10% of select merchandise
- 10% of food and drinks
California residents monthly price – $40 a month after $179 down payment.
Believe Key
For those who are looking for a little bit more benefit for their pass, look at the Believe Key. For a price of $949 a year, guests will receive the following benefits:
- Admission to both theme parks most days of the year (with park pass reservations)
- Ability to hold 6 park reservations at one time
- 10% of select merchandise
- 10% of food and drinks
- 50% off parking
California residents monthly price – $65 a month after $179 down payment.
Dream Key
For those wishing to have little restrictions and the best benefits, the Dream Key to the ultimate Disneyland Resort pass. For a price of $1399, or $102 a month after a $179 down payment, guests will receive the following benefits:
- Admission to both theme parks every day of the year (with park pass reservations)
- Ability to hold 6 park reservations at one time
- 20% of select merchandise
- 15% of food and drinks
- Free parking
California residents monthly price – $102 a month after $179 down payment.
Return To The Magic
The announcement of the Magic Key Program as Disneyland Resort’s Annual Pass replacement has to be one of the most exciting things that has happened for the park this year.
