Attraction Overview
Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters opened in California Adventure on March 7, 2016. It was the first trackless ride system to be built in Disneyland Resort at the time. The trackless ride system creates a smooth feel to the cars’ movements, which is perfect for this attraction that is all about making these cars dance.
To begin their ride guests will board one of the Fizzante roadsters. These convertible cars are modeled after Italian rear-engine micro cars from the 1950’s and come in a variety of fun colors. When all guests are situated in their vehicles, the fun begins. Traditional Italian music will fill the air with shoutouts from Luigi himself as the cars begin to move and dance around. From side to side shuffles to high energy spins, the moves are a truck load of fun.
Each ride is unique since the trackless ride system is programmed for almost 20 different choreographies.

Location & Wait Times
Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is located in Cars Land in Disney’s California Adventure Park. Guests can find it across from Flo’s V8 Cafe and next to Radiator Springs Racers. Guests will know they’ve located the entrance when they find the leaning tower or tires at the front of the attraction.
Wait times for this attraction are typically on the low side. Since the ride has so many vehicles available, each being able to fit multiple riders, the line moves quickly. This is a perfect attraction to hit at any time of the day since the wait times don’t get too long.
Queue Experience
The queue for Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters is an absolute blast for people of all ages. When the queue is long, it winds outside of the attraction. Although there is nothing necessarily decorative about the outside portion of the queue, it is still completely immersive. The ride itself is situated in the center of Radiator Springs and has so many fun things to see.
Once guests enter the indoor portion of the queue they will enter Luigi’s tire shop. All the variety of tires, including the exclusive Fettuccine Alfredo tires, are on display. After walking through the tire shop guests enter a second outdoor portion. Here guests can see the cars dancing with joy as well as signage for the attraction. There are a lot of cute touches in the queue, such as the planters being in the shape of tires. Guests can wait for their turn to ride while listening and dancing along to the music for the attraction. It is truly enjoyable to see everyone in line tapping their toes and dancing along with the cars.
