This information, including any resolutions to be adopted and resort budgets, are discussed at condominium association meetings and included in Disney Vacation Club resort notices. First, under the My DVC menu, navigate to Condo Association News.
Then, on the Condominium Association News & Notices webpage you’ll find information about the most recent Disney Vacation Club association meeting. For example, here we can see information about the recent December 2024 meeting.
A change in regulations now requires Disney Vacation Club to host quarterly meetings, whereas in the past these meetings were only held once annually. With this change also came logistical updates to meeting attendance. In December 2024, DVC hosted a Member Gathering and Reception open to all DVC Members, and the individual resort meetings were open to attendance only by home resort owners. For example, if you owned one contract with a Bay Lake Tower home resort, you could only attend the Member Gathering and Reception and the Bay Lake Tower meeting–you would not be permitted to attend a meeting for another resort. Registration to attend is also required, and can be found on this same Condominium Association News & Notices webpage. Thus far, attendance has only been offered in-person with no online or virtual component.
Under this meeting information panel is an option to opt-in to receive electronic communications from Disney Vacation Club about future condominium association notices, such as alerts for meetings. If you hope to attend a future condominium association meeting, this is a great way to ensure you do not miss your registration opportunity.
If you click the Opt-In Today! button you will be prompted to update your communications preferences. You can also update these preferences by navigating to your profile and updating the Communications Preferences section.
Below the meeting notices opt-in prompt is information about the most recent meetings and, typically, the prior year’s documentation. Here you will find the meeting notice and budget for your home resorts, and, once available, a general highlights from the meeting. The highlights posted by Disney Vacation Club are often very high level, citing key Board members and voting representative present and that budgets were presented and approved. DVC Shop blog covers these meetings in far more thorough detail for your reference on any topics of interest that were discussed. If you could not attend the condo association meeting in person, DVC Shop’s coverage will have everything you need to know.
