The Twinings Tea Tour: What To Expect
The Twinings Tea Tour will be located in the United Kingdom pavilion at EPCOT, which is known for its charming British architecture and beautiful gardens. It is a tour guided by Disney Cast Members where park guests will be able to explore a tea garden inspired by the United Kingdom’s rich tea tradition, featuring a variety of plants and herbs used in the production of tea.
Fifteen minutes prior to the start of your tour, you’ll be given a “Tea Tour Tag” to distinguish which guests will be joining the tour. During the tour, guests will learn about the history and culture of tea from expert guides, as well as the correct process of making tea from start to finish (spoiler alert: you’re most likely missing a few things in your method!). Select plants in the garden will have a placard next to it describing the type of tea being grown and what flavors are expected from brewing it into a tea.
Once the tour has concluded and you’ve turned in your Tea Tour Tag, you will also be treated to a goody bag that has an assortment of Twinings teas inside, including classic blends and unique flavors curated exclusively for the festival’s Tea Tour.
The Tea Caddy Shop
In addition to the tea garden and tour, guests can visit the The Tea Caddy Shop which is sponsored by Twinings. This quaint shop will offers a variety of tea-related merchandise for purchase, including teapots, cups, and loose-leaf teas. They also sell an assortment of British sweets, cookies and royal memorabilia, plus annual passholders can get a 20% discount here as well!
International Flower & Garden Festival At EPCOT
The Twinings Tea Tour is just one of the many amazing additions that come to EPCOT each year with The International Flower & Garden Festival. This an annual celebration of springtime, featuring stunning floral displays, topiaries, and outdoor kitchens serving up delicious seasonal dishes is one of our family’s favorite times to explore EPCOT.
