Ahead of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’s debut on June 28th, Annual Passholders will be able to get an exclusive preview of the attraction before it becomes available to the general public. The preview process will be very similar to past passholder previews, but we’ve got all the dates and details below. Let’s dive in!
Preview Dates for Passholders
Annual Passholders can mark their calendars for June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, and 20, as the designated dates for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure previews at Magic Kingdom. This allows passholders a firsthand experience of the new attraction before it’s officially open to the public.
Reservation and Virtual Queue Details
To participate in the preview, Passholders are required to secure a park reservation for Magic Kingdom on their chosen preview date. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to join a virtual queue for the attraction, with entry times at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM on each day of the previews. Holding a spot within this virtual queue is crucial, though it does not guarantee participation due to limited availability and boarding group constraints. Here are all the details as stated by Disney:
Park Reservations & Virtual Queue Required
A virtual queue will be in place for Annual Passholder previews of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Here’s how it works!
- First, make a park reservation to Magic Kingdom park on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day. Or, you can make a park reservation to any theme park on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 1:00 PM virtual queue.
- On the date of your reservation, request to join the virtual queue by using the My Disney Experience app. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews.
- The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to Magic Kingdom park for that day.
- The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park for that day. As a reminder, Passholders must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Magic Kingdom park. Or, on June 13, 14, 17, 18 or 20, they can enter Magic Kingdom park without a reservation after 2:00 PM.
- Passholders do not need to have entered a theme park when they request to join the virtual queue.
Know Before You Go
Annual Pass and Admission Requirements
To qualify for the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure preview, you must have an Annual Pass that is valid on your chosen preview date, blockout dates will still apply! So, certain pass blockout dates could affect eligibility for some of the preview dates. Securing a park reservation is required and there is currently a virtual queue just to make park pass reservations, so be sure to jump on this as soon as possible!
Virtual Queue Participation Guidelines
Passholders are able to join the virtual queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure once per day. This ensures equal access to all Passholders.
Also, you are able to be part of both a preview virtual queue and an attraction virtual queue at the same time. So, if you want to try to get a boarding group for TRON, you can have both queues in your My Disney Experience app.
Boarding Group Limitations
The process of joining a virtual queue does not assure you’ll be able to preview the attraction. The boarding groups in the virtual queue system is limited, so timing will be important to get a boarding group.
It is possible that not all boarding groups will have the opportunity to experience the preview, dependent on the day’s capacity and operational problems that could happen. While we’ve never had an issue once we had a boarding group, with new rides, anything can happen!
