In honor of both Veterans Day and the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, Walt Disney World has announced a new and special ticket offer for eligible U.S. military families. Being called the “Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket,” this offer functions as a commemorative annual pass, providing access to all four theme parks throughout 2026 for a fixed price. This new pass is a significant addition to Disney’s long-standing tradition of offering specially-priced tickets to thank service members and their families.
This guide breaks down the details of this new offer, including pricing, validity, blockout dates, and how it compares to the traditional Military Salute Tickets.
Details of the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket
The core of this new offer is a special annual pass valid for nearly the entire 2026 calendar year. This allows military families the flexibility to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks repeatedly throughout the year, a feature not available with the standard multi-day Military Salute tickets.
Pricing and Options
The new pass is available in two tiers, providing different levels of access:
- Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket (with Park Hopper): $499 per person, plus tax. This option includes Park Hopper access, allowing guests to visit more than one theme park on the same day.
- Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket (with Park Hopper Plus): $529 per person, plus tax. This option includes the Park Hopper benefits plus a certain number of visits to other select Walt Disney World destinations, such as the water parks (Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach) and certain golf courses.
This new pass is available for purchase by eligible U.S. service members and their spouses.
Validity and Blockout Dates
The Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket is valid for park entry from January 1, 2026, through December 18, 2026. Like other ticket types, it requires an advance theme park reservation for each day of your visit.
It is important to note that this pass is subject to blockout dates during some of the busiest times of the year. For 2026, the announced blockout dates are:
- March 29 – April 11, 2026 (covering the peak spring break and Easter period)
- November 22 – November 28, 2026 (covering the week of Thanksgiving)
All tickets and options will expire and cannot be used after December 18, 2026.
Comparison to Traditional Military Salute Tickets
Alongside the new annual pass, Disney has confirmed the return of its traditional Disney Military Salute Tickets for 2026. These tickets offer a set number of park days at a reduced rate and remain an excellent option for families planning a single vacation during the year.
For 2026, the offerings include:
- 6-Day Park Hopper Ticket: $449 plus tax
- 5-Day Park Hopper Ticket: Pricing to be announced
- 4-Day Park Hopper Ticket: Pricing to be announced
These multi-day tickets share the same validity period (January 1 – December 18, 2026) and the same blockout dates as the new “Celebrate America” pass. The primary difference is the structure: the Salute tickets provide a fixed number of park days, whereas the “Celebrate America” pass offers year-long access, similar to a traditional annual pass.
Who is Eligible for Military Offers?
Disney’s military offers are available to a specific group of U.S. service members and their spouses. Eligibility generally includes:
- Active or retired members of the U.S. Military
- Members of the National Guard, Reservists, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
- Spouses of eligible service members.
100% disabled veterans may also be eligible. It is always recommended to confirm eligibility requirements directly with Disney or through a participating U.S. military base ticket office before purchasing.
Making the Right Choice for Your Family
For those who plan to visit multiple times throughout 2026, this pass offers considerable value compared to purchasing separate tickets for each trip. However, for families planning a single, longer vacation, the traditional 5-day or 6-day Park Hopper tickets might still be the more economical choice. Be sure to take advantage of these new ticket offerings if you are eligible!
