Vacationing as an introvert might seem like an anxiety-inducing experience. But if you plan and prepare accordingly you’ll be able to have a relaxing vacation that is perfected tailored to your needs and wants! Disney World is a busy vacation destination, and it’s no secret that it can be a bit overstimulating at times. But introverts can still travel to Disney World and have a wonderful time. If you are planning your Disney vacation as introvert then check out these tips and tricks on how to make your vacation magical and enjoyable for you!
Stay DVC
If you’re looking for a quiet resort to retreat back to at the end of your busy Disney day then staying DVC is an absolute must. DVC resorts are deluxe resorts that have spacious villas and studio rooms, perfect for those who need their own private space to escape to during the day. DVC resorts like Old Key West and Saratoga Springs for example are typically quiet spaces with lots of walking paths and areas to relax quietly.

Travel During A Less Busy Time of Year
Introverts traveling to Disney will definitely have an easier time with their vacation if they visit during less busy times of year. Avoid major school breaks like spring break, summer break, and winter break. Avoid any holiday, including holiday weekends. Travel during the winter if you can, or during early August when kids are returning to school.

Take Meal Breaks During Off-Hours At Relaxed Restaurants
Choosing odd hours for dining is a great way for introverts to have a quiet and relaxed meal. When dining at the parks, eat lunch prior to noon if you can, and eat dinner prior to 5pm. By avoiding peak meal times you are more likely to be able to enjoy an emptier and quiet restaurant.

Find Quiet Spaces And Relaxing Rides
There are many quiet spaces and relaxing rides to take advantage of during your Disney vacation. During your trip, seek out side paths and seating areas that are away from the main walkways. Some of our favorite quiet spaces include the Cinderella Castle Hub Grass which is the perfect spot for enjoying some food from Casey’s Corner. Some relaxing rides include Carousel of Progress, The People Mover, Living With The Land, and Spaceship Earth.

Take Midday Breaks at Your Resort
Taking midday breaks back at your resort is the perfect way to recharge your social battery as an introvert. Staying at Disney resorts makes it easy to return back for a few hours when it gets too hot or crowded. Simply hop on a Disney bus, or take the Monorail or Skyliner depending on which resort you’re staying at.
