This October, Disney Vacation Club members can look forward to a festive Halloween event with a new twist. The annual Halloween Meet & Treat, previously held at Atlantic Dance Hall, is moving to the BoardWalk Convention Center at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas.
With character meet-and-greets, holiday treats, and more, this event is a must-attend for DVC members looking to celebrate the spooky season. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s event.

The Halloween Meet & Treat will take place on the following dates:
- Monday, October 13, 2025
- Tuesday, October 14, 2025
- Monday, October 27, 2025
- Tuesday, October 28, 2025
Each event runs from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Location
The event will be held in the Promenade West/Salons I-III of the BoardWalk Convention Center. This new location offers a spacious and convenient setting for the festivities.
What to Expect
Character Meet-and-Greets
While the specific characters have not yet been announced, attendees can expect to meet some of their favorite Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes. These meet-and-greets are a highlight of the event, providing a perfect photo opportunity for families.
Treats and Entertainment
In addition to character interactions, the event will feature music, holiday-themed treats, and other surprises to enhance the Halloween spirit.
Costume Guidelines

Eligibility
To participate, DVC members must:
- Qualify for Membership Extras.
- Have a resort reservation at Walt Disney World or Disney’s Vero Beach Resort.
Each member can bring up to four accompanying guests.
Parking and Transportation
Parking will not be available at the BoardWalk for this event. Guests are encouraged to use Disney transportation to reach the venue.
Capacity and Reservations
No advance reservations are required to attend. However, the line may close before 1:00 PM if capacity limits are reached, so arriving early is recommended.
