When Disney’s Magical Express officially retired a common question for guests was, “How will we get to our resort from the airport?” Now we have our answer! Disney has added a new airport transportation option for Walt Disney World resorts. This new, private transportation option will provide guests with ground transport both to and from the airport from all Walt Disney World resorts.
This new transportation will be an add on option available for Walt Disney World Resort packages. Guests can book it at the time of booking their vacation online or they can call the Disney Reservation Center directly as well. This travel service is available to be booked up to five days prior to guests’ arrival.
The vehicle options are varied and include vans, sedans, SUVs, and even limousines. Those who are traveling with children will also have the option of booking their transportation with car seats. Guests will be given one complimentary carseat for the ride for those with children five years old and under, with the option of purchasing more depending on availability.
In addition, as is the standard with all Disney transportation options, all drivers and Guests will be required to wear face coverings while in the vehicles.
Guests are excited about the return of a Disney airport transportation. Guests have been using services such as Mears Connect, Uber, and Lyft in order to go in between the Orlando International Airport and their Walt Disney World Resort. This has left many guests fumbling for the best and most affordable option, or what to do about carseats. Now with Disney transit back at the airport, guests will have a lot less to worry about.
