My personal favorite village pieces are Mickey’s Balloon Shop that reminds me a lot of Mickey Mouse’s Clubhouse, Minnie’s Cotton Candy, and the Mickey Gingerbread House. Mickey and Minnie appear building snowmen, ice skating, and decorating cookies. I was able to find greater availability of these village pieces on Amazon.com than on the Deparment 56 website.
One of my favorite things to display and gift to give is a holiday snow globe. There’s something magical about the quiet scene inside while the snow gently falls down.
