Easter Egg Hunt
During an Easter sailing, you and your family can anticipate holiday joys like crafts, face painting, and, of course, an Easter egg hunt. One of my very favorite things to do onboard a Disney Cruse is to participate in the craft offerings with my little ones. If this sounds like something that you would enjoy, look for the daily itinerary on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app when you are officially on board. You can favorite the crafts you want to go to so your young voyagers don’t skip the fun of any crafting delight.
While there will be an Easter egg hunt on the cruise ship, my family likes to go above and beyond to make the experience memorable. If you want to make a sweet memory with your little ones, I highly recommend doing the same.
Before your cruise, visit your local Dollar General or Five Below to buy a few bags of plastic. I suggest buying two to three bags of plastic eggs. Then, put them in your suitcase for a fun Easter egg hunt in your stateroom. If you’re bringing candy from home, make sure it is prepackaged. Our favorite candies to bring are things that will not melt, like Skittles, rock candy, and jelly beans. If you do not want to bring candy from home, You can also check out the candy store on board the cruise ship. This may be a bit of a pricer option, but to me, there is something special about buying candy from the candy shop on your vacation. After all, everybody has a sweet tooth that must be satisfied.
Pro Tip
After you buy the candy, send your little ones to the appropriate youth clubs aboard your ship. While they are having fun, you can get busy filling the eggs with all of the delicious treats you purchased. After you are done filling the eggs, hide them throughout the cabin, pick up the kids, and let the hunting begin. Trust me, you should definitely do this. It will be a memory that lasts forever.
