The lengthy EPCOT Overhaul Project at Walt Disney World has culminated in the grand opening of the Communicore Hall Festival Venue in the World Celebration area. It’s a very exciting time to be at EPCOT – after years of creative vision, innovation and dedicated work, I’m thrilled to share that the historic transformation of our park is complete.
The construction walls have come down around World Celebration, and CommuniCore Hall, CommuniCore Plaza, and Mickey & Friends will open to all starting June 10!
These beautiful new spaces speak to the heart of the World Celebration neighborhood, which focuses on experiences that bring communities together. As you come together with your family and friends to explore these new areas, here are a few things that I’m most excited for you all to see.

This vibrant and interactive show invites guests to immerse themselves in the magical world of Disney’s “Encanto.” Featuring beloved characters and songs from the hit film, ¡Celebración Encanto! offers an engaging experience for all ages.
Visitors can join in on the fun by singing along to popular tracks like “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure,” while enjoying captivating performances and colorful visuals that bring the enchanting story to life. This addition promises to be a delightful highlight, celebrating the spirit and culture depicted in Encanto.
Opening of Communicore Hall Festival Venue
The centerpiece of this milestone is the newly opened Communicore Hall Festival Venue.
