Disney fans have a new reason to talk about Bruno, the mysterious and lovable character from Disney’s “Encanto”, has made his debut in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom.
Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month
This exciting development took place yesterday, September 15th, marking the commencement of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month.
To honor Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, the parade banner was revamped and numerous characters from a variety of Disney tales were added to the front float. The parade was spearheaded by the “Together we are Magia” banner. Esteemed characters like Miguel and Elena graced the front float while Bruno, donning his signature green ruana, greeted spectators from an elevated position. Jose and Panchito were spotted at the rear of the float.
Bruno’s inclusion in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade was revealed in mid-August following a casting call that was issued in June. Before this, Bruno made his first appearance at Disney Parks at the Disney California Adventure during the Oogie Boogie Bash 2022.
An Encanto Invasion!
Bruno has taken over the place of his niece Mirabel, who had been a part of the cavalcade since 2022. As of September 15th, a permanent meet and greet for Mirabel has been created in the Fairytale Garden located in the Fantasyland section of Magic Kingdom.
Indications are that “Encanto” characters’ presence at Disney Parks will continue to grow. Walt Disney World recently issued a casting call for a performer to play Luisa Madrigal. Additionally, Walt Disney Imagineering dropped hints about a possible Tropical Americas-themed revamp of Dinoland U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort, with “Encanto” being one of the intellectual properties linked to the land.
