Sunset

Relaxing at Disney resorts can be one of the highlights of any Disney vacation. Visiting the Disney parks and experiencing the busy magic can be very exciting and fun, but there is something extra special about returning to your resort at the end of a long day and relaxing. Many guests prefer to spend evenings at their resort rather than get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the parks at  night. If you find yourself wandering your resort in the evenings then consider finding a good place to relax and watch the sunset. Many resorts have wonderful views. Here are some of our favorite places to relax at watch the sunset at Disney resorts.

Beachside at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Resort makes guests feel an island spirit in more ways than one. This resort is beautiful, with walking paths surrounding Bay Lake, and sandy lakeside beaches scattered throughout. These beaches are great chill-zones, with hammocks and seating that is perfect for guests to have that beach-y vibe. Any of these beaches are great for relaxing and watching the sunset in the evenings. They make for a great photo opportunity as well! Another perk to sitting on the beach in the evenings is that you can catch a viewing of the Electrical Water Pageant, a show on the lake that has been going on for decades. This fun water pageant takes colorful floats and music to put on a darling evening show. If you stay on the beach long enough you might even be able to catch a glimpse of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks show.
