‘A Touch Of Disney’ Food & Beverage Event Coming To California Adventure On 3/18

This event is being called “A Touch Of Disney”. The important dates and times are listed below.

• The event will run from March 18 through April 5
• Open Thursday through Monday
• Hours will be 12pm to 8 pm

Ticket sales will begin on March 4 for certain dates, while others will be held back initially and available for purchase while the event is going on. Ticket prices begin at just $75 with the cost including the following:

• Admission to the event 
• Parking
• $25 dining card for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages
• Unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass pictures
• Tickets are required for those 3 and up

Tickets will need to be purchased beforehand, so make sure to buy yours at the A Touch of Disney page on Disneyland.com website. 

This event is going to take place inside of California Adventure. Since Buena Vista Street is going to be included in this event, it will not be open to those without tickets while the festival is going on. The last day that Buena Vista Street will be free admission to the general public will be March 14. This allows Disney a few days to get everything in place for the event to begin on March 18. 

Downtown Disney is not included in the closed off, ticketed area. Guests can expect it to remain open for free, seven days a week.

Although the rides inside of California Adventure, where this event will take place, are not going to be operating, Disney has plans to bring a fun filled experience to those who attend. 

Food and Drinks

Disney is planning on bringing out their best snacks for all the foodies. It has been mentioned that the portions will be more snack sized, allowing all guests the opportunity to sample everything that Disney is offering. These are some of the snack items that have been confirmed at this time.

• Dole Whip
• Monte Cristo Sandwich from New Orleans Square
• Sweet & Spicy Chicken Wings from Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar
• Lobster Nachos
• Torta De Papas Street Tacos
• Specialty Churros
• Carrot Cake Funnel Cake Fries (NEW)

Disney will also be opening reservations for Lamplight Lounge, Alfresco Dining, and Carthay Circle Lounge for those looking for a sit down atmosphere. 

Guests can also expect a large variety of beverages to be available for purchase. These include wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Characters

While munching on your snacks, Disney promises the opportunity to see some of their most beloved Disney and Pixar characters. Guests should keep their eyes peeled and see if they can spot these characters playing around and waving. There will also be areas that guests can get a little closer (but still socially distanced) to take some great photos with the characters. 

Shopping

As always, there will be plenty of merchandise available for purchase at this event. Certain retail locations on Buena Vista Street will remain open so that guests can buy their commemorative keepsakes. Outdoor carts will also have little trinkets and treasures that guests will love. Other retail locations will have extra packaged goodies for those to take home and eat at a later date to prolong the magic.
