Disney vacations are easily packed full of activities thanks to 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and Disney Springs. Midday breaks are essential for so many guests, especially those who tire easily or those who are traveling with children. Disney’s Boardwalk Resort
One of Disney’s more lively resorts is the Boardwalk. DVC guests can enjoy staying at one of the Boardwalk’s villas and experience all of the fun and entertainment that this property as to offer. For your midday break you can play in the Luna Park Pool and make a splash with the twisting waterslide. Grab a corn dog at Blue Ribbon Corn Dog, or a margarita at Joe’s Margaritas. In the evening hours you’ll catch live entertainment in the form of the Boardwalk Bouncers jumping rope or jugglers. Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is also home to a large arcade, and surrey bike rentals for the whole family. You can easily spend an entire afternoon strolling the boardwalk and finding fun things to do.

Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village and Jambo House
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a unique resort that takes midday break to a new level. This resort has DVC options in both Jambo House and Kidani Village, and each area of the resort has views of the African savanna. Guests can see giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and more during their relaxing break at their resort. There are two feature pools to enjoy here as well, both with water slides and splash play areas. Animal Kingdom Lodge is also home to a Community Hall where DVC guests can play games, do activities, rent DVDs, and more.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Resort is located on the monorail line which means it is quick and easy to return to for a midday break. This resort has a wonderful feature pool with waterslide, and two splash playgrounds for kids. There are also sandy lakeside beaches throughout the resort grounds which are perfect for relaxing midday. Guests can also grab dole whips at Pineapple Lanai or take a stroll around the beautiful resort’s walking path.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Located near EPCOT and Disney’s Boardwalk, Disney’s Beach Club is another resort that has great options for a midday break from the parks. Disney’s Beach Club is home to Stormalong Bay which is an extensive pool area that feels more like a mini waterpark. Guests can enjoy a lazy river, a sand-bottomed pool, waterslides, and mini waterslides for kids. After swimming, guests can walk over to the boardwalk or take a boat.
