Did you know that Disney World is more than its 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, and resorts? Disney World is also home to a massive shopping and entertainment center: Disney Springs. Disney Springs is free to enter and has many activities, shops, and restaurants to keep guests busy for hours. Many guests enjoy visiting Disney Springs at least once during their vacation. Some guests enjoy spending quite a bit of time here while for others a simple afternoon or evening will do. Determining when to visit Disney Springs during your vacation doesn’t have to be a complicated topic! Here are some ideas of when you can squeeze in a visit to Disney Springs during your vacation.
In The Middle Of The Trip/ On A Rest Day
Many guests enjoy carving out a day near the middle of their vacation to rest. Some guests prefer sleeping in and enjoying their DVC resort and all of the recreational offerings there and then moving over to Disney Springs for the evening to check out some bars, lounges, and restaurants. This is a great option for guests who have longer vacations and need some time to recharge before hitting the parks again. This gives guests a chance to try out some Disney Springs restaurants and make reservations at places like T-Rex Cafe and Wine Bar George for dinner.

Other guests might prefer to use their rest day for Disney Springs in the morning. Many popular restaurants at Disney Springs like Homecomin’ for example, have brunch options that guests love. After breakfast or brunch guests enjoy spending the rest of the afternoon shopping, and then eventually return back to their resort in the evening for more restful activities.
On Check- In Day
If you’re checking in earlier in the day and don’t have any other plans, then your check-in day could be a great day to explore Disney Springs. This is a good option for guests who are coming in during the late morning or afternoon hours and want to have a little bit of a Disney experience on their very first day. Check-in day is a great way to grab some cute photos of your family with all of Disney Springs great photo ops!

After Check-Out Before Heading Home
For some guests, it makes the most sense to hit up Disney Springs after check-out and right before heading home. This works well for guests who have a gap between their flight home and checking out of their resort. It also works well for guests who are driving home and want to squeeze in a bit more Disney before leaving. Disney Springs is also a great place to go when you need a last-minute souvenir or gift for someone back home.

After A Half Day At The Parks
If you really want to squeeze in a visit to Disney Springs but don’t have time on check-in or check-out day, then you can always swing by for a bit after a half day in the parks. This works well for some people who have park hoppers and want some sort of in-between activity before moving to the next park. It also works well for guests who have finished all of their desired attractions for the day and are still looking for activities to enjoy.
