Disney Springs is like mixing fantasy with nightlife. The entire complex is filled with places to shop, dine, and play! Whether you’re a local or from out of town, Disney Springs has something for everyone. However, the abundance of choice can be overwhelming. How are you supposed to narrow down a place to have dinner when just about every restuarant there is the best of the best? Springs is divided into four sections. West Side, The Landings, Town Center, and the Marketplace, I’ll break down all four to make your next visit as stress free as possible, continuing with The Marketplace.
Shopping
Disney Springs houses the world’s biggest Disney Store. If you happened to miss a piece of merchandise during your park days, World of Disney has you covered! From Pixar to Marvel, World of Disney has something for everybody. It’s almost impossible not to get lost in there, because your bank account balance is sure to go missing. One of my favorite stores is Disney’s Days of Christmas. Sometimes, you need a little Christmas music in April to lift your spirits! Days of Christmas also personalizes ornaments and Christmas decor, so you can look back at your magical family vacation during the holidays. Across the way, is The Art of Disney. My friends and I visit here quite often, as the art featured constantly refreshes. You can find artists sketching, signed paintings, and statues of iconic Disney moments to decorate your living space back home!
The Marketplace Co-op is a really interesting venue, within this store is a variety of different Disney themed mini gift shops, including tech accessories, pet products, and art! There’s also another Star Wars merchandise outpost on this side of Disney Springs, if you don’t find yourself over on the West Side. If your hands are feeling a little dry, go for a scrub at Basin! Lots of Disney themed soaps and bath bombs, with a giant sink in the middle with an assortment of soaps and scrubs to sample. And of course, for my pin traders out there, Disney’s Pin Traders has everything you need whether you’re a beginner or experienced pin collector! Parents beware of the massive Lego Store just next to World of Disney! They have every Lego set your kiddos (or maybe even you) could desire, with Disney themed Lego Statues outside that are perfect for photo ops.
Dining
I need to take this time to RAVE about eet by Maneet Chauhan, which is Disney Springs’ only Indian restuarant. The food here is incredible AND shareable. The bread service is to die for, so you can technically share it but I wouldn’t put it past you if you kept it for yourself. Another Disney Springs favorite is Earl of Sandwich which has sandwiches for every meal. If you like themed, immersive restaurants, you have to check out Rainforest Cafe. Sure it’s a chain, but something about this one is cozier than any other I’ve been too. An evening at Disney Springs isn’t the same without enjoying an adult beverage! Dockside Margaritas is a great place to chill by the water, enjoying a cocktail listening to live music and watching the sunset. Dessert is the most important part of each meal, lucky for you Disney Springs has a giant Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. It’s almost impossible to resist as they pump out chocolate smells to lure in guests!
Entertainment
While not many entertainment options on this side, there are some that aren’t to be missed! As mentioned previously, there is usually live music at night located at Dockside Margaritas. The AdventHealth Waterside Stage has live music every night and varies by day to keep things new! Disney Springs doesn’t have rides like the parks, but it does have two small little attractions! The Marketplace Train and Marketplace Carousel are kiddie rides available for a small fee!
