runDisney has announced three new virtual races for the Christmas season whose registration will open on July 25th, 2023. The races are designed to bring runners of all levels together to celebrate the holiday season and stay active during a time when many Disney fans will be at home with family.
The first-of-its-kind virtual event features three 4K running events and a challenge, all hosted by favorite Disney friends. It’s also a perfect way to stay motivated during the holiday season and keep you from sledding off your training plans for a future runDisney event. The only thing sweeter than a chorus of Christmas carolers will be the sound of you crossing the finish line. Plus, who doesn’t love a few extra presents during the holidays, especially when they’re for your hard-earned efforts!
runDisneyVirtual runDisney races are open to runners of all ages and fitness levels, and participants can choose to run or walk the distance. Registration for the races will be open soon, so be sure to set a reminder on your calendar as these are sure to be popular races.
While the virtual races may not offer the same experience as a traditional in-person race, they provide an opportunity for runners to stay active and engaged during the holiday season.
