As of today, the popular boat transportation service at Disney Springs has been temporarily suspended. This change is due to low water levels in the lagoon that is between Disney Springs and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
Normally, the boat transportation services guests at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter + Riverside.
While the temporary suspension of boat service may be an inconvenience for some guests, it’s important to remember that this change is being made with guest safety in mind, and is only a temporary inconvenience. Once Florida’s summer rainy season is in full swing, the lagoon should refill, and guests will be able to enjoy the convenience of boat transportation once again.
Alternate Transportation Options
While the boat service is suspended, guests at these resorts can still get to Disney Springs using other modes of transportation. In the case of Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, guests can use the bus transportation, or simply walk to Disney Springs if they’re up for it.
In the meantime, Disney Springs offers a wealth of exciting experiences for guests to enjoy, including shopping, dining, entertainment, and more. So whether you’re traveling by bus, water taxi, or on foot, there’s always something new to discover at Disney Springs.
