Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is coming back in 2023 for its 15th anniversary and this time, it’s bringing new themes for the 5K, 10K, 13.1 Miles, and 19.3 Miles races!
If you’re a fan of Disney Princess movies, then you won’t want to miss out on this race weekend. Club runDisney members will be able to register early on June 17 at 10 a.m. eastern time on the runDisney.com website. General registration opens June 21 at 10 a.m. eastern time. Princess fans also have the option to participate in the virtual race on June 24 if you can’t make it to Walt Disney World.
This year’s Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend will feature the following themes: Disney Princess Jasmine for the 5k (3.1 mile) event, Belle for the 10k (6.2 mile) event, Moana for the 13.1 mile event, and finally Cinderella for the 10.5k (19.3 mile) event.
Disney Princess 5K – Jasmine

The runners will be venturing outside the palace walls with Jasmine and her companions Aladdin, Abu, Carpet, and (of course) Raja in this 3.1 mile event. This is the quickest of the races at 3.1 miles, which begins February 24 at 5 a.m. eastern time.

Belle and her pals Chip, Mrs. Potts, Lumiere, and Cogsworth charge through the hazardous (but lovely) forest in this dash that covers around 6.2 miles on February 25 at 5 a.m.eastern time.
Disney Princess 13.1 Miles – Moana Half Marathon

Make way for Moana’s Half Marathon on February 26 at 5 a.m. eastern time, when the spirits of Maui, Hei Hei, Pua, and Gramma Tala will lead you through the jungle.
Disney Princess 19.3 Miles – Cinderella Fairy Tale Challenge

The next stage in the Cinderella story is her attempt to escape from the castle. The flight down the castle steps is her most difficult challenge yet! Her Fairy Godmother and rodent buddies – Jacque, Suzy, Gus Gus, and Perla – will be there for the 10K and half-marathon on February 25-26 at 5 a.m. eastern time.
These Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend events tend to sell out rather quickly, so be sure to set a reminder if you’re looking forward to running through Walt Disney World with your favorite princess next year.
