Overview
The Lotus Blossom Cafe is an excellent choice for those looking to enjoy a quick meal of Chinese food in Epcot. The menu offers guests a variety of classic Chinese food options such orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken fried rice (pictured below). Each plate comes with a side of veggies and an egg roll, which is truly the highlight of the Lotus Blossom Cafe.
In addition to the delicious entrees that are offered here, there are also a variety of Chinese inspired beverages such as plum wine. For those with a sweet tooth, there is also the option of two flavors of ice cream. Since the ice cream comes pre packed from a factory, it does not have the most beautiful or Instagram worthy presentation. However, the flavors definitely make up for that. It may not look like much, but the caramel ginger ice cream is a full of that ginger flavor with little hints of caramel undertones creating a bold and unique ice cream flavor. It is truly a perfect ending to your meal.
Unfortunately for those with food allergies and dietary restrictions, many of the food either contains one or more allergens and is cooked in the same facilities as many of the top 8 allergens which creates the possibility for cross contamination. However, you may still speak to the chef at the Lotus Blossom Cafe about your dietary needs, and they may be able to create something off menu for you.
There is no Mobile Ordering option at Lotus Blossom Cafe, but the Cast Members here are quick to take your order and get you your food. Anytime of day the Lotus Blossom Cafe is an excellent quick service meal when you’re in the World Showcase.
