5 Places in the Disney Parks Where Kids Can Burn Energy

Journey of water

If you are traveling to Disney World for a family vacation with a kid who has a lot of energy then this is for you. Parents of kids with high sensory needs, or kids who just need to burn off extra energy during the day, might be nervous to travel to a place like Disney World. It’s true that there is a lot of structure during a day at the Disney parks with shows and attractions. But there are plenty of areas that you can visit with your kids where they can play, run, and burn off all that energy.

1. Dumbo The Flying Elephant Playground at Magic Kingdom

This attraction is not only a classic Disney ride but it’s also home to a wonderful indoor playground. When you enter the line for Dumbo you enter a circus tent that houses a play area that’s perfect for kids to burn off some extra energy. You’ll receive a pager that will notify you when it’s time to enter the line for the ride and your kids are free to run around and play until then.

This area is located near Casey’s Corner, and gives you a great view of Cinderella Castle. This grassy area is great for a picnic, sitting, or letting your kids run around a bit. The castle hub grass gives you space to relax and soak in the ambiance of the park while you watch your kids play.
