23 New Vacation Homes Added to Polynesian’s Island Tower DVC Inventory

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has expanded its inventory at the Island Tower of Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. On October 14, 2025, Disney declared 23 additional vacation homes for the timeshare inventory, increasing the total number of bookable homes from 84 to 107. This marks a significant step in the development of the Island Tower, which still has 115 vacation homes under Disney’s control.

Details of the New Declaration

The newly declared vacation homes are located on the fourth floor of the Island Tower, specifically in the central and north sections near Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The declaration includes:

  • 4 Duo Studios
  • 11 Tower Studios
  • 2 Dedicated One-Bedroom Villas
  • 5 Lockoff Two-Bedroom Villas
  • 1 Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villa

In terms of DVC points, the new units add a combined total of 348,077 points to the inventory, bringing the declared total for the Island Tower to 1,751,673 points—approximately 48.5% of the building’s estimated total of 3,608,934 points.

Here’s the updated breakdown of declared vacation homes by accommodation type:

  • 21 of 39 Duo Studios
  • 40 of 91 Tower Studios
  • 14 of 26 Dedicated One-Bedroom Villas
  • 27 of 46 Lockoff Two-Bedroom Villas
  • 3 of 16 Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas
  • 2 of 4 Two-Bedroom Deluxe Villas

What’s Next?

The remaining 115 vacation homes are still under Disney’s control and can be used for cash reservations, marketing, or other purposes. While the newly declared homes are located on the fourth floor, guests may be assigned accommodations on any floor of the building.

This latest declaration is the largest since the Island Tower’s initial declaration in July 2024. As Disney continues to expand its DVC offerings, members can look forward to more options and flexibility at this stunning Polynesian resort.
