Disney has just shared some delicious news, the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is set to begin on July 14! This event will be presented by CORKCICLE once again this year and will run from July 14th all the way through November 19th.
This festival will include over 25 Global Marketplaces all throughout Epcot that will offer new and returning menu items to guests. Some noteworthy returns will be The Swanky Saucy Swine, Appleseed Orchard, Hops & Barley, Earth Eats hosted by Impossible and Shimmering Sips hosted by CORKCICLE. Not all of the Global Marketplaces will be opening at one time. Some booths will be opening a few weeks after the event begins to keep guests on their toes and able to try new flavors and cuisines.
In addition to the delicious culinary marvels that have been created for this event by Disney’s team of chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers, Disney will also be bringing entertainment along with the food.
The Eat to the Beat Concert Series presented by Florida Blue Medicare returns to the festival again this year. This concert series will be taking place on the America Gardens Theatre stage and will feature both international artists and local bands. The official list of performing artists has not yet been released, but when it does the editorial team at DVC Shop will let you know.
Remy’s Hide & Squeak is also returning to add some Ratatouille fun. Guests can purchase their map and stickers from various merchandise locations. This scavenger hunt is a favorite for kids of all ages, even kids at heart.
If you prefer a food focuses scavenger hunt you may want to try Emile’s Fromage Montage. Guests will be able to collect stamps in their festival passport with eligible cheese dishes that are found in certain Global Marketplaces. At the end you can turn in your festival passport and enjoy a surprise!
As always, there will also be event merchandise that are exclusive to this year’s event. Guests can find apparel, home decor, and more at various festival booths.
