Where to Meet Your Favorite Characters at the 2026 Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Characters at the 2026 Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back at Magic Kingdom for the 2026 season, running on select nights from August 7 through October 31. One of the best parts of the event is the chance to meet characters you rarely see in their Halloween attire, along with a few villains who only come out for the party.

Disney has now confirmed where each meet and greet will take place, so here is a land-by-land guide to help you plan your route. Keep in mind that party admission is separate from regular park tickets, and all entertainment can change without notice.

Main Street USA

Main Street USA

Town Square Theater anchors the character offerings at the front of the park. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse greet guests there in their Halloween looks, making it a natural first stop as you enter.

Jack Skellington and Sally also set up at Town Square Theater, giving fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas a chance to meet the pair in one spot.

It is worth staying alert as you walk in, too. Disney has noted that other Disney pals and villains may show up without notice along the Main Street USA bypass, which serves as the main entrance for the party. In past years, surprise appearances have turned up in this area, so a slow walk down the entrance path can pay off.

Adventureland

Adventureland

Adventureland keeps things simple with a single group meet and greet. Aladdin, Abu, Princess Jasmine, and Genie gather together in the Agrabah Marketplace.

This setup follows the same approach used in recent seasons, so you can expect the full group in one location rather than scattered across the land.

Frontierland

Frontierland

Frontierland gives you two separate ways to meet characters this year. Chip ‘n’ Dale greet guests near the exit of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a spot that is new for the 2026 party.

The Country Bears also make an appearance, though they do not hold a fixed line. Shaker, Wendell, Romeo McGrowl, and Big Al roam throughout Frontierland instead of staying in one place. In a previous year, Romeo turned up inside the Country Bear Jamboree treat trail at certain points in the evening, so watch for the group as you move through the area.

Fantasyland

Fantasyland

Fantasyland has the widest range of meet and greets at the party, so plan to spend some time here. Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts greet guests just outside the Mad Tea Party. Nearby, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella can be found throughout Fantasyland.

Ariel and Prince Eric greet guests near Under the Sea, Journey of the Little Mermaid, while Gaston holds court close to Gaston’s Tavern.

Over in the Storybook Circus section, Pluto meets guests at the entrance, and Donald Duck and Daisy Duck appear in their Halloween attire at Pete’s Silly Sideshow.

Winnie the Pooh and friends round out the land with a costumed meet and greet at The Thotful Spot. Pooh dresses as a bumblebee, Piglet as a butterfly, Eeyore as a clown, and Tigger as a pirate for the occasion.

Roaming Characters

Roaming Characters to Watch For

Beyond the set locations, the party sends a few fearsome fiends out into the park after dark. The Hitchhiking Ghosts and other roaming characters can appear throughout the night, so part of the fun is spotting them as you go. Because these appearances are not tied to a schedule, staying flexible is the best way to catch them.

Final Thoughts

With headliners at Town Square Theater, a full Aladdin group in Adventureland, new stops in Frontierland, and a deep list in Fantasyland, the 2026 Not-So-Scary Halloween Party gives you plenty of characters to seek out between August 7 and October 31. Since party admission is separate and lineups can shift, it helps to map your must-meet characters early and leave room for the surprises roaming the park.
