If you’re a fan of the Haunted Mansion, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the perfect place to spend a spooky evening. From rare character appearances and special entertainment to exclusive merchandise and the chance to ride the attraction itself, the Happy Haunts are everywhere during the 2026 party.
New Haunted Mansion Character Encounters
The Haunted Mansion presence starts as soon as you enter Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. New for 2026, guests are greeted by Grave Diggers as they make their way into the party.
You can also encounter Lady Fermotta, a resident of the Haunted Mansion who has previously appeared outside the attraction. This year, she has moved onto the trick-or-treating trail, giving guests a closer and more interactive opportunity to meet her.
And if you want to find out what the Mansion has in store for you, look for Blair Lockward. He is the one who will read your tombstone as you enter the party, giving guests a suitably spooky welcome to the evening.
One of the most exciting new offerings for 2026 is a rare chance to encounter the Hitchhiking Ghosts (Ezra, Gus and Phineas) outside of the Haunted Mansion. The trio can be found at The Diamond Horseshoe as part of the party’s trick-or-treating experience. Seeing these iconic characters in a setting where you can actually interact with them makes this a must-do for Haunted Mansion fans.
Parade & Park Map
You can also see the Hitchhiking Ghosts during Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, where they appear alongside Constance Hatchaway, the Haunted Mansion Bride.
Even the party map gets in on the fun this year, featuring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy dressed as the Hitchhiking Ghosts. It’s a fun nod to the classic characters and one of the many Haunted Mansion touches you’ll find throughout the event.
Ride the Haunted Mansion
Of course, you can still ride Haunted Mansion during the party. While the attraction is open throughout the year, experiencing it during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party feels particularly fitting. If you’re a Haunted Mansion fan, make time in your party itinerary to take a ride.
And because this is Halloween, you can even dress up as your favorite Haunted Mansion character! Just be sure to follow Disney’s costume guidelines when planning your look.
Haunted Mansion Merchandise
The Haunted Mansion is also heavily featured throughout this year’s party merchandise. The collection leans into a classic Halloween color palette of orange, heather gray and black, with the Hitchhiking Ghosts and other Haunted Mansion favorites appearing across the designs. The Hitchhiking Ghosts also appear prominently throughout the 2026 merchandise collection, giving fans of Ezra, Gus and Phineas plenty of opportunities to take a little Haunted Mansion magic home.
One standout collectible is the Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket. The Hatbox Ghost was added to the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom in November 2023, making him one of the attraction’s newer residents.
Between the rare character encounters, parade appearances, trick-or-treating, merchandise and the attraction itself, the Haunted Mansion has a major presence at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year.
