Disney World is a vacation destination that has become even more popular in recent years. As more and more guests visit the parks, the crowds within Disney World continue to grow. While the crowd size is increasing, the guest experience remains positive. There are many ways to manage navigating crowds during Disney’s busiest seasons. Breaking for a meal is one of my favorite ways to escape the crowds. Magic Kingdom is a park will many dining options, with restaurants that will satisfy even the pickiest of guests. Whether you enjoy table-service meals, or quick-service, here are some places to eat at Magic Kingdom that offer a break from crowds.
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
This low-key table-service restaurant is located in the front of the park near Magic Kingdom’s Main Street USA train station. Tony’s Town Square restaurant is based on the restaurant from the classic Disney film Lady and the Tramp. This restaurant serves Italian American cuisine and is famous for its garlic bread appetizer. It is typically easy to get same day reservations for Tony’s Town Square, and the interior is spacious and calm. Guests can easily retreat to this restaurant for lunch or dinner during a particularly busy day the parks.

Pinocchio Village Haus
If you’re looking for a quick-service dining location that is spacious, calm, and serves delicious food, then check out Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland. This restaurant serves flatbread pizzas, meatball sandwiches, and salads. Guests can view the loading station of the “it’s a small world” attraction while they dine or enjoy other Pinocchio themed dining areas.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe
Located in Frontierland, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe is a lesser known dining location that is perfect for escaping the crowds. Serving Mexican and American food, guests can enjoy nachos, tacos, or pulled pork BBQ sandwiches while they relax in a spacious dining area that is dimly lit and perfect for taking a break and relaxing.

Located on Main Street USA, The Plaza Restaurant typically has same day reservations as well as walk up availability. The Plaza Restaurant serves a sophisticated menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Guests of The Plaza Restaurant will feel refreshed after enjoying this elegant dining space full of natural light and early 20th century charm.
