Where To Eat At EPCOT When You Need A Break From Crowds

Spaceship Earth

Disney World is a vacation destination that has become even more popular in recent years. As more and more guests visit the parks, the crowds within Disney World continue to grow. While the crowd size is increasing, the guest experience remains positive. There are many ways to manage navigating crowds during Disney’s busiest seasons. Breaking for a meal is one of my favorite ways to escape the crowds. EPCOT is a park will many dining options, with restaurants that will satisfy even the pickiest of guests. Whether you enjoy table-service meals, or quick-service, here are some places to eat at EPCOT that offer a break from crowds.

Katsura Grill

Located in the Japan pavilion, Katsura Grill is a quick-service restaurant that you should definitely try during your next trip to EPCOT. This restaurant does have indoor seating, but it tends to fill up quickly. Luckily, the outdoor seating area is beautiful and located in a Japanese garden with plenty of shade. Guests can listen to the flowing water fountain and see fish, greenery, and enjoy being outdoors at this lovely restaurant. Katsura Grill serves Japanese food like sushi rolls, ramen, udon, Japanese curry, teriyaki, and more. Guests can also enjoy Japanese cocktails made with Sake, or Japanese beers.

This indoor food court-style restaurant has plenty of options for families or those who are particular about their food. Sunshine Seasons serves grilled chicken, burgers, stir-fry, flatbreads, salads, and kid’s meals both classic and unique. Sunshine Seasons also has plentiful seating, all indoors, so it’s perfect for a break.

Coral Reef Restaurant

A restaurant with a beautiful and unique theme is Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT. Have you ever wished to dine surrounded by beautiful sea life? This is exactly what you can experience at Coral Reef Restaurant. Large aquarium windows allow guests to watch marine life as they dine on delicious food from both land and sea. Guests can view turtles, rays, schools of fish, and even sharks as they enjoy their meal. This restaurant is number one of the list of many families with small children.
