Walt Disney World is bringing back Cool Kids Summer in 2026 with limited-time entertainment and family-focused activities across all four theme parks. For families planning a summer trip, the event adds extra options for younger guests beyond the usual rides and shows.

Here is a simple park-by-park look at what Cool Kids Summer includes this year, plus a few updates that may help you decide where to spend your time.

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom’s main Cool Kids Summer feature is Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue. This new offering brings Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and other Toy Story friends together for singing, dancing, and games. It is designed as an interactive experience, which makes it a good fit for families with younger children.

The park also has a few ride updates that may matter to families. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin now includes handheld blasters and always-on lasers, which should make aiming easier for kids. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has also reopened with a lower height requirement, smoother track, and added show elements.

For families staying late, the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade is another option to keep in mind.

EPCOT

At EPCOT, Cool Kids Summer centers on GoofyCore inside CommuniCore Hall. This space returns as a dance and activity area where kids can move around, play simple games, and take a break from long attraction lines. Its flexible format makes it especially useful for families with toddlers or younger children.

EPCOT also has several nearby attractions that may appeal to families this summer. Soarin’ will feature Soarin’ Across America beginning May 26, with a new flight film focused on locations across the United States. Frozen Ever After has also received updates, including refreshed Audio-Animatronics and lighting.

Another practical change is at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is now presented in 2D. That may make the ride easier for guests who have trouble with 3D effects.

Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is putting a strong focus on stage entertainment for younger guests. The main addition is Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, which opens May 26. The show includes Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto, along with songs and audience participation.

This offering is part of the updated Walt Disney Studios Lot area. Later in the summer, The Magic of Disney Animation is also expected to open with a new animation experience hosted by Olaf, character meet and greets, and a playground inspired by Alice in Wonderland concept art.

Families can also look at The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure, which adds another indoor entertainment option during the warmer months.

Animal Kingdom

At Animal Kingdom, the biggest draw may be Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station. Bluey and Bingo will appear there for games, dancing, photos, and themed activities tied to the series. Because Bluey has a large following, this area could become one of the busiest Cool Kids Summer offerings.

Animal Kingdom also continues to offer other family-friendly shows, including Zootopia: Better Zoogether in the Tree of Life Theater and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond.

For families with younger children, this park may offer a good mix of character experiences and indoor entertainment.

Conclusion

Cool Kids Summer 2026 gives each Walt Disney World park something different for families with children. Magic Kingdom leans into Toy Story fun, EPCOT offers active play spaces, Hollywood Studios adds live shows, and Animal Kingdom brings Bluey into the mix. If you are planning a summer visit, these limited-time offerings may help shape which parks best fit your family’s interests.
