But what makes staying DVC so special? Continue reading to find out more.

Deluxe Resorts

Staying DVC is special because it gives guests the opportunity to stay at deluxe resorts. All of the DVC resorts are deluxe resorts, and when you rent from DVC Shop you can experience these deluxe resorts at a more moderate price. Deluxe resorts have sit-down restaurants on their property, playgrounds for kids, multiple pools, waterslides, and splash playgrounds. Deluxe resorts are also closer to the parks and some have more premium transportation options. Staying deluxe, or staying DVC really takes your vacation to the next level and enhances the Disney magic.

Spacious Villas and Great Accommodations

Staying DVC means more space and great accommodations. Even DVC studios have more space than a standard hotel room. The one, two, or three-bedroom villas have multiple rooms and bathrooms to enhance comfort. This is perfect for those traveling with large families or with extended family. The villas have living spaces, as well as full kitchens with appliances. DVC villas even have laundry machines in the rooms. Staying DVC is great for families who love to feel at home during their vacation.

Premium Transportation Options

Staying DVC can mean having more premium transportation options. When you stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort you have access to the Disney Skyliner which will quickly take you to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. When you stay at Disney’s Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian, you have monorail access so getting to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT is a breeze. Staying at Disney’s Boardwalk or Beach Club means you can walk to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. And by staying at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, you can walk to Disney Springs.

More Options for Recreation and Leisure

DVC resorts typically have more options for recreation and leisure. There are more pools to enjoy, waterslides, splash playgrounds, Surrey bike rentals, Community Halls, walking and jogging paths, health and fitness centers, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and even sandy lakeside beaches at certain resorts.
