From live performances to culinary delights, both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are offering unique opportunities to “Celebrate Soulfully.” Here’s a guide to the events and activities you can enjoy this February.
Celebrate Soulfully at Walt Disney World Resort

Special Parade at Magic Kingdom
On February 9, 2026, a special parade led by Toya Johnson-Rushing as Grand Marshal will celebrate Black History Month. The parade will feature Disney characters, music, and vibrant displays along Main Street, U.S.A.




Art and Music at EPCOT
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will showcase Black artistry with appearances by:
- Yesenia Moises
- Ryan Riller
- Larissa Brown
- Mark Page




Additionally, the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series will feature performances by Black artists from Disney musicals, including:
- Jelani Remy (The Lion King)
- Anastacia McCleskey (Tarzan)
- Kissy Simmons (The Lion King)
- James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin)

Vibrant Performances at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Experience the rhythm of the islands with:
- Viva Gaia: A Caribbean street party on Discovery Island.
- Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe: High-energy performances in Africa.

Culinary Delights at Disney Springs
Celebrate with limited-time treats, including:
- Soulful New York Cheesecake Pop at The Ganachery: Cheesecake ganache layered with graham cracker ganache and dark chocolate.
- Wakandan Mousse at Amorette’s Patisserie: Coconut mousse with guava gelée and chocolate sablé.

Disney Springs Art Walk
Explore the Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression, featuring works by Black artists such as Ernest Shaw, Nneka Jones, and Brandon Hill.

Celebrate Gospel Concerts
The Celebrate Gospel concerts return to Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage for two weekends:
- February 20-21, 2026: Featuring Grammy Award-winning Bishop Hezekiah Walker.
- February 27-28, 2026: Headlined by Yolanda Adams.
These free concerts also include performances by community choirs from Southern California, offering uplifting entertainment for all.


Heritage Trail Displays
A new heritage trail of displays will debut across Disneyland Resort, celebrating influential Black leaders, artists, and thinkers. Highlights include:
- Leah Chase at Tiana’s Palace.
- Martha Blanding on Main Street, U.S.A.
- Floyd Norman on Buena Vista Street.
These displays honor individuals who have shaped culture and industries for generations.


Specialty Food Offerings
Limited-time dishes inspired by Black heritage will be available, including:
- French Quarter Fried Chicken Bowl at Tiana’s Palace: Spicy honey-glazed fried chicken with baked macaroni and cheese and collard greens.
- New Orleans BBQ Shrimp at Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining: Cajun-battered shrimp with cheesy polenta and BBQ butter sauce.
Both dishes are available from January 30 to March 2, 2026.

Year-Round Experiences
