Using Disney Boat Transportation For Snacks And Drinks

Most guests are familiar with Disney’s free transportation system that takes guests to the parks, waterparks, and Disney Springs from their Disney resort. Disney utilizes their Skyliner, monorail, and busses in order to give guests quick and easy access to all Disney locations. But did you know that there’s another transportation options as well? Boat transportation is reliable, fun, and a great way to explore Disney resorts and other areas. If you find yourself with some free time during your next vacation and want to use boat transportation then be sure to check out some of these snacks and drinks you can find during your journey.

Pretzels at Good’s Food to Go

The boat that travels down the Sassagoula River connects Disney’s Old Key West, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans, and Disney Springs. At Old Key West guests can find delicious snacks at Good’s Food to Go. This quick-service restaurant has several options, but they are known for having a great variety of pretzels to enjoy. Guests can choose from the Cream Cheese Pretzel, Jalapeno Cheddar Pretzel, or Mickey Pretzel with cheese. Nearby, guests can grab a drink at Gurgling Suitcase.

Beignets at Scat Cat’s Club

Down the river at Port Orleans French Quarter, guests can head over to Scat Cat’s Club and enjoy a Disney classic. The beignets here have come very popular in recent years because of their fluffiness, sweetness, and delicious chocolate dipping sauce. They are Mickey-shaped and topped with powdered sugar, or guests can enjoy them in the form of an ice cream sundae. This snack is perfect for sharing, as these beignets come in orders of three or six.

Cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse

Over at Disney Springs, guests can disembark the boat and walk over to Gideon’s Bakehouse. Gideon’s is famous for their giant cookies that are absolutely covered in toppings. Whether you choose chocolate chip, or one of their seasonal specialty flavors, you really can’t go wrong in indulging in this sweet treat. Gideon’s Bakehouse also sells a variety of cold brew coffee in unique flavors like peanut butter. Their cookies are great for sharing and will definitely fill you up quickly.

Corn Dogs at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs

Another boat system runs from EPCOT to Disney’s Boardwalk, Beach Club, and Hollywood Studios. At Disney’s Boardwalk, guests can try a unique corn dog at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs. Flavors include the Pickle Dog, Mexican Street Dog, Golden Dragon, and even a giant Mozzarella stick!

Cake at Cake Bake Shop Bakery

Also on the Boardwalk is the Cake Bake Shop Bakery. Here you can find both delicious treats and yummy specialty coffee. Cake Bake Shop is known for their giant cake slices like the Cookie Dough Cake, but they also sell fudge, macarons, and other confections.
