Touring Disney’s Hollywood Studios With Toddlers: What To Prioritize

Traveling with toddlers can be stressful, but Disney makes it so easy! Disney vacations are great for young families; the parks are designed with families in mind. Parents of toddlers might feel like some vacation destinations are off-limits for them, but many families of toddlers find that Disney World trips are simple and fun. When you think of Disney with toddlers you might be thinking of Magic Kingdom. But there are three other parks to enjoy as well! Disney’s Hollywood Studios celebrates the magic of the movies and the characters we love. If you are visiting with toddlers, then continue reading to learn more about what you should be prioritizing.

Toy Story Land

Toddlers love Toy Story, and Toy Story Land brings this world to life perfectly. While most toddlers are too little for the 38 inch height requirement of Slinky Dog Dash, those who are 32 inches or taller can enjoy Alien Swirling Saucers, and there is no height requirement for Toy Story Mania. Throughout the day, guests can spot the Green Army Men, as well as meet and greets for Woody, Buzz, and Jessie. Roundup Rodeo BBQ is the perfect place to take your Toy Story loving toddler for lunch or dinner. Inside the restaurant, the world of Andy’s room comes to life and everyone plays along when they hear Andy coming.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

This attraction is located within the park’s icon, the Chinese Theater. Guests of any height can enjoy this dark ride attraction, and toddlers will love the familiar faces they will see. Join Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy as they attempt to enjoy a picnic in the park. This chaotic attraction will bring out anyone’s smile.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-along Celebration

Toddlers and grown-ups alike will love the celebration that comes along with this attraction. Where else can toddlers sing to their heart’s content? For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-along Celebration invites guests to sing along to their favorite frozen songs. The story of Frozen is retold live on stage, and toddlers will love seeing Anna and Elsa in real life!

The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure

Hollywood Studios’ newest attraction is The Little Mermaid-A Musical Adventure. Located in Animation Courtyard, this Broadway-style musical features live singing, puppetry, and is a performance that grown-ups and little ones won’t soon forget. This attraction lasts around 20 minutes, and is perfect for guests who are in need of a break from the heat or the crowds. The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure plays periodically throughout the day, and is a must-do for any fan of the Little Mermaid movie.
