After a two and a half year hiatus, Cirque du Soleil is coming back to Disney World! Opening in the Spring of 2020 is a brand new collaborative show between Disney and Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic geniuses.

The original Orlando Cirque du Soleil Show, La Nouba, opened at Downtown Disney, now Disney Springs, in 1998 and performed over 7,000 shows during their 19 year run. La Nouba centered around the idea of a party of circus performers coming together to showcase their variety of artistic skills and included acrobats, singers, trapeze artists, cyclists, dancers and other artists that wowed guests each night.

The new, completely reimagined show will be staged in the same Disney Springs’ Cirque du Soleil theater and will celebrate the magic behind Disney’s animation. While the show title has yet to be announced, Disney has shared that the one of a kind show will take guests through the animation and creation process in the special and unique way that only Cirque du Soleil can. Choreography, music and whimsical characters will entertain guests in what is sure to be another spectacular creation by Cirque du Soleil.

Although the official opening date of the new show is April 21, 2020, tickets are currently available for dates between March and August 2020. For dates prior to April 21, there will be only one performance each night at 5:30PM. Shows after the official opening will be held at 5:30PM and 8:30PM each evening. Regular ticket prices range from $99 to $169, but those looking for a discount can book pre-opening day tickets (for any performance between March 20 and April 20) for a $10 discount. Group discounts are also available by contacting Cirque du Soleil directly.
