Disney World is home to so many characters and attractions based on Disney films that guests love. Experiences and attractions exist for fans of all Disney movies whether they are recent or classic films. If you are a fan of classic Disney and classic Disney films then be sure to check out these things to see and do at Disney World.

Swiss Family  Treehouse

Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland is home to an attraction based on a classic Disney film that fans will appreciate. The Swiss Family Treehouse is a walkthrough attraction that takes you into a replica of the treehouse from the 1960 film Swiss Family Robinson. This attraction takes guests 6 stories high as they explore the intricate details of the structure. Guests should be aware that this attraction requires climbing several steps.

Peter Pan’s Flight

This classic Disney attraction in Magic Kingdom is based on the classic 1953 film Peter Pan. Peter Pan’s Flight was an opening day attraction at Disneyland in 1955 and features stunning figures and effects to make it seem as if guests are flying through London and Neverland. Experience scenes from the film as you enjoy this charming classic ride.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic Concert

This 12-minute long 3D film in Magic Kingdom is a great way to see all of your favorite characters from classic Disney films. Donald Duck is the star in this wacky adventure through Disney movies like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, and so much more. Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a fun experience for guests of all ages.

Pinocchio Village Haus

Fans of the classic film Pinocchio will love dining at Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. This restaurant overlooks ‘it’s a small world’ and serves flatbread pizzas and contains references to Pinocchio throughout.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

Fans of classic Mickey will appreciate this modern take on classic cartoons. Mickey, Minnie, and all of their friends star in this attraction that explores Mickey and Minnie’s attempt at a picnic. While the short cartoon that the ride is based on is new and modern in style, it still embodies the classic-style cartoon that everyone loves.

Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros

Fans of the 1945 cartoon The Three Caballeros are thrilled to learn that they have an attraction at EPCOT. The Mexico pavilion is home to Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. This boat ride explores Mexico while the Caballeros are searching for Donald. This ride celebrates Mexican heritage and culture and is favorite of so many guests.

Explore All-Star Movies Resort

Another activity for fans of classic Disney films is to visit Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. This resort is full of larger-than-life references to classic films like 101 Dalmatians and Disney’s Fantasia, The Three Caballeros, as well as Toy Story and classic characters like Donald and Daisy.

Another resort with references to classic films is Disney’s Art of Animation Resort which is accessible via the Disney Skyliner. This resort has areas dedicated to The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and Cars, and celebrates classic Disney animation.
