The Most Peaceful Places At Disney World

Disney World is a vacation destination that is well-known for its stimulation, excitement, attractions, and fun. But many first-time guests don’t realize that the Disney parks themselves are large and full of areas to discover that might not even contain attractions. Visiting the parks is an experience, and within that experience you will discover areas to relax, explore, and enjoy beyond the rides. There are areas of the parks that are quite beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Here are some of our favorite peaceful places to sit down and enjoy while visiting Disney World.

Journey of Water-Inspired by Moana at EPCOT

While many of the peaceful areas throughout Disney World aren’t attractions, this one is! Journey of Water- Inspired by Moana is located in the World Nature section of EPCOT. This walkthrough attraction features water like you’ve never seen it before. Guests are invited to enter and explore at their own pace, as they play with water and learn about the water cycle. Music from the Moana film plays softly in the background as you explore this area, and the trickling of the water is quite peaceful as well. Guests can choose to either get way or stay dry during this experience. Guests can also see a growing green replica of Te Fiti.

Main Street USA at Magic Kingdom

This area of Magic Kingdom might not have any rides or attractions, but it is one of the best places to hang out and relax. Main Street USA is peaceful for a few reasons: it’s quaint but lively, full of shops or areas to people-watch, and it’s near Cinderella Castle. There are various little corners to tuck yourself in and away from the crowds, and there’s also the castle hub grass where you can lounge with a view. Casey’s Corner pianist plays familiar tunes nearby as guests munch on corn dog nuggets and chili cheese dogs. It is truly a great, relaxing place to hang out.

Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Perhaps one of the most thematic lands throughout Disney World is also one of the most peaceful. Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios is as if the world of Star Wars came to life. Guests can walk through the streets of another planet as they shop, soak in sights and sounds, and see the Millennium Falcon. This area of the park is lively, but there are also some quiet areas to explore.

World Showcase Pavilions at EPCOT

World Showcase in its entirety is a great place to people watch, hang out, and soak in the ambiance of the park. But there are a few pavilions that take peaceful to a new level. The waterfall area in the Canada pavilion, the gardens in the United Kingdom pavilion, the China pavilion, and the Japan pavilion are all areas that are full of peace and tranquility.
